What a liar. Just sees that his regular place is gone because he’s already too real. Can save the vulture.

And even if it is. He was granted it. He hasn’t been a good fit at Bayern for a while now. I would absolutely love for him to be able to move to the club he loves. I don’t think they’ll get him, but if Bayern have Hernandez in mind as a replacement, it’s not the worst alternative.

The boy turned 23 in November and for almost two years some Bayern fans have been screaming that he is no longer developing.

If you always treat your own players like that, then you shouldn’t be surprised if they don’t want to stay in Munich anymore. Even in the Musiala thread you have to read that several times when he wasn’t having such a good phase.

At that age it is completely normal for players to have fluctuations in performance. If you also take the situation around Nagelsmann and Tuchel into account, then you shouldn’t be surprised that, in addition to the established players, the younger ones are also not reaching their full potential .

Reading it like that, you might think that you think they’re reading this…
Let’s be honest, they train, play and otherwise live in their own bubble.
If you are stupid and self-destructive, you will voluntarily read what is written about you on Twitter.
But I think it’s nonsense that it’s the fans’ fault.
At Real he would receive no less criticism for his defensive performance.

I have to agree that he is young and that fluctuations in performance are normal. I also think it’s true that all of Bayern have been weak recently. And yet, in my opinion, it no longer necessarily fits. For me, Bayern doesn’t need an extremely fast LV (that’s more of a nice-to-have), but rather a technically strong one with good crosses. And unfortunately Davies showed less of that.
And I have to agree with the previous speaker. Yes, for them when they are celebrated, but hey, they live in a completely different world than us idiots who write their opinions here. Any mental trainer will teach them, don’t read that shit.

If you want a different type of player, that’s a completely legitimate opinion, but I didn’t want to address them either. For me it’s more about the “fans” who want a 21-22 year old Davies from Hofjagen because he doesn’t consistently play at the world-class level like he did in the triple with Flick, without even taking all other aspects into account.

To the second part. They live in the same world as us, they are just normal people who earn a lot of money with their talent, but are also constantly in the spotlight. What other people say may not affect you or me, but the majority of people are influenced by other people’s opinions. Just because you have money doesn’t mean you’re immune to something like that… Then you could also claim that online bullying doesn’t hurt, why do people still suffer from it?

2 aspects that are often not taken into account here:
1. Often this harsh criticism of players only comes when they flirt with a change publicly or through their agent. This is above all the love for the club and the injured pride, due to which the player is discredited. This happens particularly often when players want to leave for the losing club on a bad deal.
2. Players who make excessive salary demands are often viewed very critically. The performance is then compared with the requirement. If the player then puts pressure on the club and threatens to move on a free transfer, he will face headwinds.

Davies was only criticized by the fans at Bayern when 1st and 2nd occurred. Before that he was a fan favorite. Before that, no one had to point out that young players were subject to fluctuations in form.

Criticism of Davies’, at best, stagnating development curve has actually been around for a long time.

It is now difficult to say whether it will last longer than rumors about Real, as the first Real rumors were already circulating around 2020. – Davies was only at FCB for a year and was only transferred to LV at the start of the new season, which seemed to work surprisingly well.

So I think the average tenor was positive at the time of the first rumors and even more so afterward.

Now – 4 years later – the story actually looks different.

The development curve is stagnating (as mentioned), but at the same time the rumors became a little more valid in the summer of 2023. – Rumors and (increasing) criticism due to stagnation seem to correlate.

Yes, it’s actually not uncommon for a player who (apparently) wants to change suddenly “not that good anyway”. – In the case of Davies, this actually seems less relevant to me than in previous cases.

Personally, I wouldn’t be wrong if Davies stayed.
In my opinion, he had a steep learning curve as long as the entire team was clearly structured and there was at least one leader in each part of the team.
Since the whole bunch gradually slipped into the chicken pile, not much has happened to Davies either.

Completely without rating:
Davies seems (at least for now) to be a player who still needs some leadership. Then in my opinion he has everything that can make him a world-class LV.
This doesn’t even have to be due to a “personality thing”, but can simply be due to repurposing. – A 23-year-old who grew up as a (left) defender is probably more likely to be able to display an “I know what I’m doing” attitude than a trained offensive player who has learned the finer points of defense cannot (almost) instinctively recall at this level.

For Davies, a move to Madrid could actually be worth its weight in gold in terms of development.
Especially since he would meet someone Alaba he already knows and who is not unfamiliar with the LV.

Although I (and my “fellow supporters” will probably behead me for this) would try to include Alaba in a Davies deal if he was willing to return.
