In the 1:2 against Osnabrück, HSV didn’t show its best side. Olli Schulz sat in the stadium – and was still angry with the Hamburg kickers days later.
Olli Schulz is a podcaster, musician, Stellinger – and fan of Hamburger SV. On Sunday, the Berliner by choice was once again at the Volksparkstadion to watch the Rothosen play against VfL Osnabrück with his friend Olli “Dittsche” Dittrich. HSV lost the game 1:2, which put the two Ollis in the stands in a bad mood.
“HSV played such shit,” said Olli Schulz in his podcast “Fest & Fluschig”, which he moderates together with ZDF satirist Jan Böhmermann. “In the end, Osnabrück played the last quarter of an hour with ten people. And I’ll tell you one thing: Uwe Seeler is turning in his grave. But I’ll also say quite honestly: What I saw on the field is not a team, who is ready for the Bundesliga.”
Olli Schulz does not expect HSV to be promoted this year
Boom! Harsh words from Olli Schulz. Many HSV fans would probably want to contradict him, but that’s just the way it is. “This team, I like a lot of players there, but there just wasn’t an idea or a move that I thought they had practiced in training. It was pretty tough.”
Olli Schulz reported that his friend Olli Dittrich saw it the same way. The cabaret artist is “of course really a loyal HSV soul and is there every time. We really had a good time in the stadium.” And how does Olli Schulz assess HSV’s chances of reaching the Bundesliga?
He’s not optimistic: “I think it’s sad and a shame, but I can’t imagine it happening again this year.” He “wishes with all his heart” that promotion will finally work.
