WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) – The former US President Donald Trump clearly won the Republican primary for the presidential nomination in the state of Tennessee. Shortly after the polls closed on Tuesday evening (local time), Fox News and NBC announced that the 77-year-old had definitely won against his competitor Nikki Haley. Tennessee is located in the southeast of the United States with around seven million residents. The state has long opted for Republican candidates in presidential elections.
