The British sportswear provider Gymshark Ltd. has opened up an additional sales channel.
On Monday, the company announced that it had secured the Selfridges department store chain as its first wholesale partner. Until now, the brand had relied entirely on its own retail and sold its products exclusively via its online shop and in the flagship store in London, which will open in 2022.
As part of the collaboration that has now been announced, Gymshark items will now also be available in special areas in Selfridges stores in London and Manchester as well as on the retail chain’s online platform. The label’s new athleisure collection will be available exclusively there until April.
Gymshark also announced that it would also expand its own retail business. The opening of a new store in London’s Westfield Stratford City shopping center is planned for the summer.
