Yle announcer Maria Jungner has died suddenly at the age of 50. Her ex-husband, CEO of the communications agency Kreab Mikael Jungner says in his public update on Facebook that the sad news came as a complete shock.
– Deep, freezing sadness. This cannot be understood. Just last week we exchanged messages on a daily basis and now dear Maria is no longer here, he writes.
– Empty feeling. I miss you so much. So much was left unsaid. Strength to Maria’s loved ones, children, sisters, mother. Thoughts are with you.
Maria Jungner and Mikael Jungner were married in 2007-2013. After the breakup, a good friendship remained, and contact continued until recently. Maria has two adult daughters from her first marriage.
Iltalehti reached Mikael Jungner, who did not want to comment further on the sad news.
