A car ended up upside down on the roadside early this morning after an accident on the Westparallel near Riethoven. Things went wrong after the driver’s car hit the central reservation and counter-steered. A Rijkswaterstaat employee who happened to be passing by saw the crashed car and pulled the man out. He appeared unharmed. The car was towed and taken away. The road was partially closed while the accident was being dealt with, which did not involve any traffic.
