Turkish Football Federation (TFF) published a statement on its official website regarding the allegations that the VAR room was searched during the match.
The statement made by TFF is as follows:
The statement “MHK President called the VAR Center during the match” on a YouTube channel has nothing to do with reality.
Referees on the VAR staff are prohibited from entering the VAR Center with their mobile phone devices during the competitions. The mobile phone devices of the referees are turned off before entering the VAR Center and kept in a locked cabinet.
In addition, the VAR center is kept under control 24 hours a day with audio and video recording.
Necessary legal action is being taken regarding these and similar publications aimed at misleading the public.
