From May 6 to June 7, 2024, organizations can apply for a subsidy for projects that are innovatively aimed at encouraging equality between men, women or other genders in the workplace. Consider, for example, making a better combination of work and care possible or measures aimed at pay transparency and equal pay. A total of €5.5 million is available from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
The subsidy can be applied for by a partnership of labor organizations, knowledge institutions and social organizations. Applications are assessed on the basis of a so-called subsidy tender. This means that if the budget is oversubscribed, the applications are placed in a sequence based on the quality and feasibility of the project proposal. The best scoring applications will then be awarded a subsidy first and this will continue until the available budget has been fully used. Of the supported projects, 95% of the project costs are paid from the ESF+.
