Euvgenia Parakhina gives Ukrainian friends a home

Euvgenia (50) has been criticized a lot in recent weeks after she was in the program VI Today defended the Russian president and downplayed the threat of war. Born in Russia and living in the Netherlands, Euvgenia never thought that there would really be a war. Now she is so sad about that that she tries to help in every way possible, reports RTL Boulevard

Now two Ukrainian friends have been living in her house since this week. The two men were on vacation and wanted to return to Ukraine when the war broke out. She couldn’t get home on time. Euvgenia brought them to the Netherlands. Once they arrived at customs in the Netherlands, the two were asked what they were doing here. “We said we wanted to stay here as long as possible until the war is over and we didn’t know what to do next. Then the officer said: ‘Welcome to the Netherlands’. I found that so heartwarming!”

Euvgenia is one of the many Dutch people who would like to receive Ukrainians.
