The Disciplinary Committee of the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) fined Fenerbahçe Beko 120 thousand TL for the events that took place in the Turkish Cup final played against Anadolu Efes.
In the statement made by the Turkish Basketball Federation, the following statements were made:
“Regarding the Fenerbahçe Sports Club’s Anadolu Efes – Fenerbahçe Beko ING Turkish Cup competition played in Konya on 18.02.2024; Due to the indoor and spectator events, the action will be postponed for the second time within the Men’s Turkish Cup of the 2023–2024 season (T.22.02). .2024-E.2024/83) was punished with a fine of 60,000.00 TL in accordance with Articles 38/1, 38/2 and 38/4 of the Basketball Disciplinary Instruction, and due to the ugly and bad cheers caused by the audience. 60,000.00 in accordance with Articles 39/1, 39/2 and 39/5 of the Basketball Disciplinary Instruction due to the action being carried out for the second time (T.22.02.2024-E.2024/83) within the 2023–2024 season Men’s Turkish Cup. “It has been unanimously decided (K.2024/102) that he will be punished with a fine of -TL, and that he will be punished with a fine of 120,000.00-TL by adding up the fines.”
The yellow-dark blue team had a happy ending by beating Anadolu Efes 80-67 in the final.
