Freek Vonk has discovered a new anaconda species in the Amazon rainforest. The Dutch biologist was part of an international team of fifteen biologists from eight countries that discovered the northern green anaconda. Vonk shared images of the snake on Instagram on Monday, which can grow up to 8 meters long and weigh 200 kilos.
