Tuukka Taponen already promised on Saturday that he would postpone the final championship celebration until the end of the season.
– I’m not very keen on celebrating, Taponen laughed to Iltalehte.
There were two more races on Sunday. The first of them was started in the reverse order of the results list of Saturday’s race.
Taponen still finished fifth. During the season, he never finished worse than seventh and collected points in every 15 starts.
In the last one, he started again from the pole position and drove to an overwhelming victory.
– Maybe in some situations I might take a little more risks now that things are clear. Of course, I won’t pull ahead, but maybe I can push Napsu harder in the race, Taponen promised on the final day.

Taponen’s main goal for the season is in the European series. FORMULA K
Italy’s second-generation track star Brando Badoer was more than three seconds behind.
The Finn collected the series record 255 points. Second place Taylor Barnard trailed by 79 points.
Now the eyes turn again to Europe, where a series of the same car class awaits.
European small formulas start their season in the middle of May at the legendary Hockenheim motor track.
