The DFB precisely scheduled the cup semi-finals on Thursday. The game starts in Kaiserslautern or Saarbrücken.
The semi-finals of the men’s DFB Cup begin on April 2nd with the duel between 1. FC Kaiserslautern and the winner of the catch-up game 1. FC Saarbrücken against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The game will be shown live on free-to-air television by ARD. If the third division team Saarbrücken prevails, they would have home advantage in the semi-finals against the second division club Lautern.
Bayer Leverkusen and Fortuna Düsseldorf will play against each other on April 3rd, with ZDF broadcasting here. As the German Football Association announced on Thursday, both games will be played at 8:45 p.m. and will also be broadcast by the pay channel Sky.
Before that, the quarter-final catch-up game between third division club Saarbrücken and first division club Gladbach will take place on March 12th at 8:30 p.m. (ZDF and Sky). The game was canceled last week because the pitch in Saarbrücken was unplayable after heavy rain. The cup final in Berlin will take place on May 25th.
