In exactly three years, Eindhoven Airport will be closed for five months for work on the runway. Sources around Eindhoven Air Base report this to the Eindhovens Dagblad. No flying is possible during those five months. The closure is estimated to affect around 3 million travelers and around 17,000 flights.
