Fin just a few minutes the winner of Sanremo 2024 will be discovered. The name is among these five singers: Geolier, Angelina Mango, Annalisa, Ghali and Irama. After the performances of all 30 Bigs competing, televoting decided the ranking Top 5 finalists for victory. Now, with the previous votes cleared, we proceed with a new vote that adds Televoting (34%), Press Room, TV and Web Jury (33%) and Radio Jury (33%). The song and artist with the higher overall voting percentage in this last vote he will be proclaimed winner/winner.
Who wins Sanremo 2024? The predictions say Geolier
Before the start of the festival, the bookmakers were certain that there would be an all-female podium composed of Angelina Mango, Annalisa and Alessandra Amoroso. Only possible outsider, and male: Geolier. Rapper, idol of kids and Italian artist most listened to on Spotify in 2023 thanks to his album The courage of children.
After the first eveningwhere only the Press Office voted, Geolier was outside the top 5. In the following evenings, thanks to very strong support from his fan base scattered throughout Italy, his I’m for me, you’re for you he climbed position after position. And then the (booted) victory of the Cover evening, now Geolier is the strongest candidate for victory.
A possible threat for Geolier could be Angelina Mangodaughter of the late Pino ed exploded over the last year thanks to participation in Friends. With Boredom, written together with Madame, Angelina is very popular both at home and in the press room. Especially after the moving tribute that the singer dedicated to her father on the Cover evening interpreting The swallow.
Third possible winner Annalisa, also loved by the public and the press room, and with a song that is already a radio hit that will accompany us for a long time to come. At her fifth participation in the festival, Annalisa arrives after a 2023 which crowned her queen of the chartsfirst with Beautifulthen with My love.
A consecration awaited for years and which the singer from Savona certainly deserved after so much apprenticeship and so much snobbery on the part of the press and professionals.
Possible alternative winners: Ghali and Irama
Started quietly with My homea song that is not as immediate as his other hits of the past, Ghali he slowly gained consensus at home, on the radio jury and in the press room.
Also because the piece has a Eighties groove and the “featuring” of an alien who attended the performances from the audience, until arriving on stage for the final (and giving a message: “stop the genocide”). Having said that, a possible victory for him seems very distant; but a podium placement Ghali certainly deserves it.
Same goes for Irama, that with Not you he thrilled Ariston with a powerful song full of pathos. Strong of good placings in past editions – fifth place in 2020 with The genesis of your colorfourth in 2022 with Wherever you will be –, Irama could nibble away at a couple of positions but victory seems truly unattainable.
