Three people were injured in an accident on the A58 on the night of Thursday to Friday. Two cars, coming from the direction of Eindhoven, collided near Moergestel. Three people traveling from Düsseldorf were in one of the cars, they were trapped by the collision and were injured.
Another motorist drove into the back of the three occupants’ car. Two doors had to be cut open to get the three out of the car.
All three were taken to hospital by ambulance. It is not known how serious their injuries are, one of the occupants was reportedly rushed to hospital.
The three reportedly came from the airport, their suitcases were in the back of the car, a 112 correspondent reports.
An air ambulance was also called, which landed on the highway. After the accident, the road was strewn with debris and was temporarily closed to traffic.
