Lombard style becomes a brand, a common thread that links all the excellences of a super dynamic region, from fashion to food, from design to music, from tourism to architecture. Lombardy Style is the new brand of the Lombardy Region (in-lombardia.it), a far-reaching project that includes a six-monthly brochure dedicated to the successful people and beauty of its 12 provinces.
Lombardy, record-breaking region
In the project Lombardy Style also a promotional campaign with the symbolic places of the record region, which in 2023 recorded over 50 million stays, of which over 65% were foreign tourists who love its monuments and museums, its cities of art, its lakes, its mountains in summer and winter, and designer shopping.
The cover of first issue of Lombardy Style is dedicated to Giorgio Armani, together with the artist and illustrator Jacopo Ascari, who with his graphic sketches tells of the peculiarities and enchantments of the area, while the ambassadors of the new tourist campaign are three icons of beauty and sport: the actress Fiammetta Cicogna, the cyclist and presenter Vittorio Brumotti and the Olympic champion Antonio Rossi. Pages to discover new corners to visit and to celebrate a region which, numbers in hand, is the first in Italy for businesses (18% of the national total), the most attractive for direct investments from abroad (11 billion euros from 2012 to today), which brings together 1/3 of the design companies in the sector, brings together international events such as Milan Furniture Fair and fashion weeksand counts on a creative industry with 40 thousand companies and 233 thousand employees, more than 300 startups and 19 incubators and accelerators.
