Prince William spoke for the first time in public on Wednesday evening regarding King Charles’ cancer diagnosis. William, who arrived at the fundraising gala organized in central London, thanked for the support and kind messages.

At the gala, William gave a speech in which he again thanked for the messages. A week before Charles’ cancer diagnosis was announced, William’s wife Catherine was discharged from abdominal surgery.
– I would like to take this opportunity and also thank you for the kind messages to Catherine and my father, especially during the last few days. It means a lot to all of us.

William returned to his royal duties on Wednesday, although he had previously canceled his duties due to Princess Catherine’s surgery. She is expected to take on more public duties while her father focuses on cancer treatments.
So far, the court has not said what kind of cancer the 75-year-old king has. However, according to Palats, it is not prostate cancer. Charles was being treated for an enlarged prostate last month. Cancer treatments have already started.
