A mud fight threatens to arise at the KNVB complex between FC Volendam and the resigned members of Team Jonk. In this case it concerns former coach Matthias Kohler and football affairs manager Wim Jonk. The case was started by FC Volendam. According to the club, Kohler and Jonk resigned without adhering to a notice period. FC Volendam is demanding damages of several tens of thousands of euros. There is also a counterclaim from Team Jonk and it could be much higher. It is suggested that this is about 1.5 million. These are serious amounts and if Volendam had to pay that to Team Jonk, it could be disastrous.
