The police today showed images in the NH Bureau of the robbery of a supermarket on the Curtevenneweg in Kortenhoef. On Tuesday evening, January 9, that store was robbed just before closing time. The suspect is still missing.
On that particular Tuesday evening around 8:45 p.m., an employee was threatened with an object that resembled a firearm. The employee had to hand over money to the robber.
He also ordered store staff to hand over cigarettes. The supermarket employee then asked if they should be put in a bag, but by then the man had already run off – with the loot.
‘Crazy walk’
For the time being, there is still no trace of the man. The police deployed a police helicopter that same evening, but that was also to no avail. The police are calling on people with tips to contact them. Perhaps his ‘crazy walk’ will bring recognition.
