Iran executed four men at dawn, Iranian state media reported. The men had been charged with illegally entering Iranian territory from Iraq’s Kurdistan region to carry out a bombing campaign. This bombing is said to have targeted an Isfahan-based factory that produces equipment for the Iranian Ministry of Defense.
