Berlin-based streetwear pioneer Highsnobiety has appointed Nichelle Sanders to the role of Executive Vice President, North America General Manager.
Sanders will be based in the New York office, Highsnobiety said Thursday. From there, she will lead the US business and drive strategic initiatives.
She comes to Highsnobiety from New York advertising agency Mojo Supermarket, where she worked as Managing Director. She has also worked for R/GA and Virtue, the creative agency arm of the publishing platform Vice. She was also head of marketing and strategy for the Afropunk music festival and head of marketing for Bluhammock Music, a record label she helped found under Sony Music.
“We strongly believe that Nichelle, with her vision, leadership skills and deep market knowledge, is the ideal candidate to lead Highsnobiety’s next chapter in the U.S. and establish Highsnobiety as a leading marketing partner and media platform for the fashion, art and creative communities around the world,” said Highsnobiety founder David Fischer.
