In its post on its X social media account, SpaceX announced that the Ax-3 mission, planned to be carried out to the International Space Station (ISS), was postponed to January 18, US local time.
In another post by SpaceX, “All systems appear to be in good condition for today’s launch of Ax-3. The target for the launch is 16:49 US eastern time (00:49 CEST) and weather suitability is 80 percent.” expressions were used.
After all the checks, the Ax-3 mission, of which Turkey’s first astronaut Alper Gezeravcı is a member, was launched with the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida to the International Space Station (ISS) on January 18. The launch was carried out at 00:49 GMT on the night of January 19.

Before the launch, in the statement made by SpaceX about Turkey’s First Manned Space Mission “The crew’s seats have been moved to flight position, suit leakage checks and communication check have been completed.
