Due to the wintry weather conditions, the Bundesliga match between 1. FSV Mainz 05 and Union Berlin cannot take place on Friday.

The stadium operator of the Mainz Arena has closed the venue. The reason for this is the heavy ice formation on the lower tiers, especially in the standing area, as well as on the arrival routes and the associated safety risks for spectators. A new game date will be announced soon.
