From salsa party to free chocolate milk: this is the Zoetermeer weekend agenda (12 – 14 January)

Winter coziness

On Saturday, January 13, everyone is welcome at the winter square in the Rokkeveen shopping center. From 12:00 to 16:00 you can enjoy free hot chocolate and pea soup in authentic Austrian houses. Children can have fun with games and local shopkeepers offer winter treats and warm clothing. Let the Austrian music cheer you up while you get groceries.

Return your Christmas tree

Do you still have your Christmas tree? Then don’t wait too long to take care of it, because on Saturday January 13th is the time to hand in your pine tree in Zoetermeer. There are several collection points in the city and when you hand it in you will receive a tangerine and a ticket with which you have a chance to win a nice prize.

New Year Celebration: Salsa & Bachata Night

On Saturday, January 13, it promises to be a vibrant evening at SnowWorld in Zoetermeer during the New Year Celebration: Salsa & Bachata Night. Be surprised by a mix of salsa and bachata music, where you can dance to your heart’s content. Enjoy the exciting beats by DJs and dance shows. Or participate in one of the workshops.

The event starts at 9:30 PM and tickets are available from 10 euros.

New exhibition at Franx

The new exhibition opens on Saturday January 13 at 4 p.m Waterfront Tsunami in Kunstgarage Franx. The exhibiting artists want to use their works to make us aware of sea level rise and climate change in a different way. This Saturday several artists will be present to talk to you. The ‘Waterfront Tsunami’ exhibition is free to visit.

De Hof offers various activities for all ages all year round. If it is difficult for you to make new contacts, you are not alone here. Visit us, meet people and discuss ideas for activities. Age doesn’t matter and registration is not necessary.
