“4 Blocks” star Kida Khodr Ramadan has run out of money

Now the actor and entrepreneur has insolvency proceedings underway.

Times are not exactly rosy for Kida Khodr Ramadan. The mime will probably have to go to prison in the next few days. The reason: In recent years he has often driven without a license and has been caught several times. In addition, he also committed a criminal offense for forgery of documents. This had consequences – the “4 Blocks” actor was given a suspended prison sentence of ten months and was supposed to pay 20,000 euros to charities. He apparently did not comply with the latter request in time, so that his probation has now been revoked – and he is due to be sentenced to prison.

The 47-year-old fought against the verdict, but was unsuccessful. Apart from a stay in prison, all legal remedies have been exhausted, and Kida Khodr Ramadan must now prepare for that. Enforcement is said to have not yet been initiated.

But now the Berlin-Charlottenburg district court has announced that insolvency proceedings have also been initiated over Ramadan’s assets. The court said: “The debtor’s application to defer the procedural costs is rejected because his assets are likely to be sufficient to cover these costs.”

So Ramadan is currently bankrupt. Part of the process now underway is his Kreuzberg barber shop, which he opened five years ago.
