Nils Eekhoff will be part of the DSM-Firmenich-PostNL cycling team until at least 2026. Teammate Casper van Uden is also stuck until then. The team announced this on the day of the presentation of the plans for next season
Both riders have a history with the training team of the Dutch team. North Hollander Eekhoff, who is mainly expected to play a role in the classics, switched to the pros in 2020. Van Uden, born in Schiedam, did this in the summer of 2022. He is considered a talented sprinter.
Eekhoff (25) achieved his first victory as a professional last year with a win in the prologue of the ZLM Tour. In the Tour de France he finished fifth in the eighth stage, his best result in a Grand Tour to date. It was already his third Tour participation.
Van Uden (22) stood out last year with places of honor in Milan-Turin (3rd) and a stage in the Tour of Britain (2nd).
