As is customary, after Christmas, the curtain rose on the Mar del Plata offer, in a trend that has been established for several years. In the first days of January, the usually packed La Feliz billboard is completed. Here, in a very tight summary, we mention just a few artists and titles of the many already announced.
Among the debuts are “Fatima 100%” is the title of the new show by the singer, comedian and impersonator Fatima Flores. Here she is accompanied by the entertainment journalist Marcelo Polino, with musical direction by Fernando Vázquez, and is presented at the Roxy theater. In a musical key you can see, in the City theater, the sparkling “Kinky Boots”, with a book by Harvey Fierstein, music and songs by Cyndi Lauper, directed by Ricky Pashkusled by Federico Bal, German Tripel and Sofia Pachano, in which a drag queen and a shoe manufacturer discover how much they have in common.
While, Luciano Castro, Mercedes Funes, Luciano Cáceres and Jorgelina Aruzzipremiere at the Lido, the comedy “The kiss” by Nelson Valente who also directs them, and which raises unexpected and surprising situations in the intricate life of a couple.
After a successful season in Buenos Aires and an international tour, he arrives at the Mar del Plata theater, “Bossi Live Comedy,” from the talented Martin Bossi, accompanied by a large live orchestra, where humor, comedy and music come together in a full interaction with the public. In the Atlas it will be seen “Lost”, the comedy by Mariela Asensio and José María Muscari, directed by the latter, who star Ileana Calabro, Leonor Benedetto, Ana María Picchio, Emilia Mazer and Mirta Wons, about the women in the life of a nation’s judge who loses her memory. There, too, for his part, Mauricio Dayub offers his award-winning titles “El Amateur”, together with Gustavo Luppi, directed by Luis Romero, and “El Equilibrista”, directed by César Brie.
At the Bristol you can see the dramatic works “Freud’s Last Session” with Luis Machin and Javier Lorenzo about the father of psychoanalysis and “The Hunter and the Good Nazi” by the Argentine Mario Diament, with Jean Pierre Noher and Ernesto Claudio, directed by Daniel Marcove, about the meeting between Simon Wiesenthal and Albert Speer.
The one-man show “The Outbreak” starring ROberto Peloni, created and directed by Emiliano Dionisi, about the insecurity of an actor, will be presented at the Auditorium from Thursday, January 4 to Sunday, January 7. In turn, the psychological suspense works “Verónica’s Room” and “I Wait for You in the Dark” will take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays, respectively, in the Melany room at Radio City. Both of Saxon origin, have the leading role of Silvia Kutika accompanied by Fabio Aste, Adrián Lazare and cast.
In the independent circuit, among other proposals, Melina Petriella takes the stage in Cuatro Elementos with “As if life were a peaceful and stable moment”, by Dardo Dozo, based on a book by Dario Sztajnszrajber, about a woman who begins to question her existence. While in Mar de Fuegos, on Wednesdays there will be “Eltrabajo” with dramaturgy and direction by Pablo Viollaz, performances by Fabio Herrera, Lucas Ranzani and Mario Riccio, which talks about the people of the interior when they are far from the big metropolises.
