Train traffic between Poperinge and Menen resumes after…

The accident took place on the railway line from Poperinge to Kortrijk, between the Kemmelseweg and the Komenseweg in Ypres. The collision happened on the full tracks and not at a level crossing, according to Frédéric Petit of Infrabel. The 150 passengers were all able to leave the train around 3 p.m. and continued their journey with replacement buses or their own transport.
