Produced by Banijay Italia, the twenty-second edition of the program opens with the introduction of two new games: Tris And 100 seconds. To discover the mechanism, you need to watch the episode. Rai has not yet provided details. Even if the format of the program remains substantially unchanged.

Who are the new Professors Naomi Buonomo and Michelle Masullo
Naomi Buonomo and Michelle Masullo. The first is brunette, the second is blonde, the two new Professors take the place of Eleonora Arosio and Andrea Cerelli, the first Professor in the history of the program, recruited in 2021.

The 2024 LegacyMarco Liorni in place of Pino Insegno
Born from an idea by Amadeus and Stefano Santucci, The legacy has been on air since July 29, 2002. I am over 5000 episodes have been made so far, hosted by some of the most loved Rai faces. Amadeus started the game, leading until 2006 with 984 episodes, followed by Carlo Conti until 2018 with 2154. Between 2014 and 2018 the program was entrusted to Fabrizio Frizzi for 764 episodes.
After his death in 2018, Flavio Insinna took the helm in September of the same year. He remains in charge until 2023 after 1192 episodes. Marco Liorni arrives in the running, replacing Pino Insegno. At the presentation of the 2023-2024 schedules, in fact, Rai had announced the return of Insegno on Rai 1 at the helm of The 2024 Legacy.
Things, however, took a different turn due to the low ratings obtained with The merchant at the fairanother game show broadcast since last September on Rai 2. The last episode was broadcast on 22 December 2023. Liorni is fresh from the success of Chain reactionwhich he has hosted continuously since 2019. Expected as a summer game, thanks to the important ratings Rai has decided to extend it until December 2023 and to also broadcast it in prime time. The two special episodes aired on September 30th and October 7th.
Now the presenter takes on a new challenge. If on one hand the public will have to get used to a different management style from the other he finds a face he is fond of and who already occupies the same time slot. For Liorni the commitments don’t end here, because on January 6th he returns to the air with Italy yesagain on Rai 1, live at 4pm.
