Austria’s famous winter sports resort Kitzbühel takes drastic measures to eradicate disorder caused by tourists.

According to Blick, the Kitzbühel city council has decided to ban the sale of over ten percent alcohol products during the World Cup weekend. The alpine skiing world cup tour stops in the state of Tyrol on the 19th-21st. January.

The reason for the ban is said to be a large increase in the number of alerts received by the police in recent years. Viinapanna covers all public places and the competition area, but restaurants and pubs are allowed to continue selling normally.
