Is it a coincidence or is she angry? After a harsh and somewhat misplaced joke by Wilfred Genee, Gerard Joling appeared in VI last night without Rob Kemps’ background dancer.
Gerard Joling always appears on television with two wild ladies, because he seems a bit static on his own, as a 63-year-old man. One of those wild women is Stephanie Klaver, also the background dancer of Rob Kemps, with whom she is currently in bed. But yesterday Gerard suddenly had no dancers with him to Today Inside.
‘They are dead!’
It is a bit strange, because Wilfred Genee had more or less announced those dancers the night before in VI. He then made a somewhat misplaced joke about the ladies. “Would he also take the dancers with him?” asked Johan Derksen.
Wilfred then: “I think so, right? Rob Kemps’ girlfriend. It is always there. Oh, I realize they’re both dead.”
Johan bewildered: “Those two dancers?!”
Wilfred: “Just a very serious person who says in my ear: ‘They are both dead!’ Hahahahaha.”
Really dead?
So yesterday evening Gerard suddenly performed in VI without those ladies. Could something have happened to them? Wilfred asks: “And your dancer is not there, but she is not dead either, is she? She’s just not there?”
The entertainer then: “No, stop it. You mean my Stephanie Klaver? That darling… Yes, you said that last night. I thought that was a bit strange.”
Wilfred: “No, I didn’t say that at all. It was about Dorus and Mr. Cor Steyn man.”
Confusion
There is a misunderstanding, says Wilfred. A bit of his own fault, Johan admits: “Yes, you said: ‘They are both dead’, but then we were also talking about those dancers.”
Gerard doubts Wilfred’s story: “Yes, no, that’s not possible. There are things you can’t say, Wilfred.”
All in all, Rob and Stephanie are doing absolutely fine. We only have to worry about them if they haven’t posted an Insta photo for twenty minutes. #happierthanever
