After taking third place ahead of Charlotte Adigéry, Guga Baúl started the final game with 393 seconds, while Jacotte Brokken had 531 seconds. Guga delivered some heavy blows during the final. Especially with question 8 – which plays by Shakespeare sell the most? – Guga easily managed to give 4 correct answers.
The wait for the 5th answer was blood-curdlingly tense, but unseen Guga dropped his time to 17 seconds compared to Jacotte’s 39 seconds. With ‘Macbeth’ as the last answer, it was 17 compared to 19 seconds, so it was Guga’s turn again. With just one correct answer he was able to take Jacotte home and thanks to that masterful move, Guga Baúl can call himself The Smartest Person in the World for a year.
