When purchasing a new car or van, consumers will pay an environmental contribution of 10 euros from 1 January. This contribution will be used to finance the future recycling of the vehicle. This is reported by Febelauto, the management organization for end-of-life vehicles as well as batteries from hybrid and electric vehicles.
