The International Automobile Federation (FIA) met on Tuesday. The topic of the list was how the alliance will punish Russia, which started the war of aggression.

Contrary to the recommendations of the International Olympic Committee, the FIA ​​did not exclude Russian athletes from its competitions.

For the time being, the decision means that Nikita Mazepin, for example, will be allowed to continue in the F1 series for the time being. Motorsport according to Mazepin’s stable, Haas, will make its decision against the Russian driver this week.

The FIA ​​ruled that Russian and Belarusian drivers will be allowed to participate in the races, but will not be allowed to use Russian symbols. Drivers must drive under the FIA ​​flag.

In addition, the FIA ​​decided to take Russia out of next season’s F1 race.

– As you know, the FIA ​​is following the events in Ukraine sadly and in shock. I hope that a peaceful solution will be found soon. We condemn the Russian attack, and our thoughts are on the side of the suffering Ukrainians, FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem said in a statement.
