HMD-Globalphone manufacturer nokiahas just announced three new C-series terminals –the C21, the C21 Plus and the second edition of the C2 – a strategy that responds to the excellent acceptance of the most affordable models placed by the firm on the international market and that has meant a 41% growth in value for the brand from 2020 to 2021.
With the forecast of one million subscriptions to its suite room of services in the first half, HMD also announces a new division focused on services to continue this period of growth. This will allow better support for customers by streamlining internal processes.

Those responsible for the brand have not indicated however what will be the date of entry into our market of the new series, although they have assured that it will be this year and soon.
Characteristics of the new products
As reported by the company, the new devices stand out for their durability and long battery life for which Nokia phones became famous so many years ago. This, combined with advances in the software Android and security updates further solidify HMD’s vision for 2022 and beyond based on high-quality, durable phones. The newcomers have incorporated a very functional Finnish aesthetic and with them is reinforcing its successful C-series range, which was introduced in 2020 and already represents 16% of total sales of smartphones of the company in the last 5 years.

The star of the C-series family, the Nokia C21 Plus is designed to be both affordable and durable. It has been subjected to rigorous tests to ensure its resistance, as well as optimal battery life. It has two different battery sizes, 4,000 mAh and 5,050 mAh, which gives autonomy of up to two and three days respectively.
Built around an internal metal chassis with an IP52 rating that protects against external factors, with resistance to dirt, dust and water drops thanks to a hardened glass cover for the 6.5″ HD+ screen.
It includes a 13 MP dual camera with panoramic and portrait modes allows for good shots. Note that it integrates a clean operating system, with minimal preloads, which gives more space for applications and user content. It ensures 2 years of quarterly security updates, and the fingerprint and AI facial unlocking technology guarantee its operability and security.

The Nokia C21 also bets on security and battery life throughout the day. incorporates a improved camera 8 MP camera with autofocus technology that accurately reads QR codes. Increased memory capacities, thanks to a multi-core processor, bring efficiency without sacrificing battery life, while AI-powered facial unlocking is now supported by a fingerprint sensor. Two years of regular security updates also come as standard in this product range.
