Andre Braugher’s cause of death revealed

A spokesperson for the recently deceased Andre Braugher confirms the actor’s cause of death.

Actor by Andre Braugher the cause of death is known. Earlier it was reported that Braugher died as a result of a short illness.

Now Braugher’s spokesperson confirms The Hollywood Reporter magazine that the actor died of lung cancer. So far, it has not been revealed to the public when the man was diagnosed with lung cancer.

Braugher died at the age of 61 on Monday, December 11. Braugher will be missed by his actress wife Amy Brabson and their three children. The couple got married in 1991, and the family lived in New Jersey, USA.

Braugher is best remembered for his role as Inspector Raymond Holt Brooklyn 99 in the series. He starred in the series from 2013 to 2021 and received four Emmy nominations for his role.

In addition, Braugher has acted Homicide – Streets of Fear in the series, and he received an Emmy Award for his role in 1998. In total, he collected 11 Emmy nominations in his career, of which he won two.

According to The Hollywood Reporter magazine, Braugher had been selected for the male lead by a TV producer before his death by Shonda Rhimes to the murder mystery series on Netflix. The actor had managed to appear in many scenes before his death. So far, neither Rhimes nor the other producers of the series have commented on what will be done with the series following Braugher’s death.
