Alba Berlin suffered its next defeat in the Basketball Euroleague: the Bundesliga team lost to Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade.
For Alba it was the twelfth defeat in the 14th game of the premier class, meaning the Berliners remain at the bottom of the table.
Alba initially kept up well, only narrowly losing the first quarter 22:25. After that, the Berliners were less and less able to counter the hosts and Belgrade pulled away. The best Alba throwers were Louis Olinde with 13 and Johannes Thiemann with twelve points. Alba continues in the Bundesliga on Sunday – the Berliners will then play in Oldenburg.
