Wintergloed is a light walk in the city center, showing ten light artworks on the theme ‘Aurora’, the northern lights.
On average, the city had more than 30,000 visitors per day. Alderman for Tourism Mieke Hoste: “In general, we see slightly fewer visitors during the busier weekends and slightly more visitors during the calmer midweek, which ensures a better spread in time. Also the spread of Wintergloed in space and the quality injection that both light trails such as the Christmas market contribute to a more qualitative experience of the visit.”
