There is apparent general dismay at the results obtained by Spanish students in the PISA report published every three years by the OECD and that evaluates the knowledge of 15-year-old students in language, mathematics and science.
If the outrage were true, many things would have to change and make PISA the epicenter of many personal, family and political decisions.. And many depend on you.

Education puts us in front of a mirror and we don’t like ourselves. Some will say that it is the fault of the new laws, others that it is the fault of the cuts, of technology, of competency-based educationlinguistic immersion or of the agreement with private centers. The reality is that any educational policy needs time and this is only possible with broad political and social consensus, since a minister or advisor usually has to give explanations for the PISA data generated by his predecessor. And if we are to exhibit phobias, yes, the fault lies with that plethora of ‘spin doctors’ who surround our politicians to tell them that we must polarize and live in a permanent electoral campaign. Please think about PISA.
