Jong Ajax takes three points after victory over Jong FC Utrecht

Jong Ajax won 2-1 against Jong FC Utrecht tonight. The match winner was Stanis Idumbo Muzambo with a goal early in the second half.

The initiative lay with Jong Ajax in the first half, but it was Jong FC Utrecht that took the lead. Wessel Kooy scored the opening goal for the visitors through a quick combination. Three minutes later it was David Kalokoh who made it 1-1 in the 41st minute. He was able to easily tap in after some good decisive work from Jaydon Banel.

After half-time, both teams had chances, but it was Jong Ajax that took the lead through a goal by Idumbo Muzambo. In the final phase of the match, Ajax keeper Tom de Graaff prevented the equalizer twice with a nice save.

Both teams had chances in injury time, but this did not result in any goals. Jong Ajax won 2-1 against Jong FC Utrecht and is now fifteenth in the first division.
