It is an almost surreal relic from an almost surreal time: air watchtower 7 O 1, just outside Warfhuizen. A 15 meter high concrete skeleton, built according to the honeycomb system of architect Marten Zwaagstra and restored a few years ago by the Groninger Landscape, because the building tells a story from times gone by.
