Marie Haelterman worked for the private sector for 5 years. A year ago she started working as a ‘Local Economy’ coordinator at the municipality of De Panne. “There is room for myself here as a young and ambitious mother,” she says. ‘There is room here to be a driven employee and a driven mother.’ The municipality recently won prizes for their personnel policy.
