VfB Stuttgart | “They are doing well”: Hoeneß expects a strong BVB

Sebastian Hoeneß sees a big challenge facing VfB Stuttgart in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup against Borussia Dortmund.

“They are doing very well in all competitions,” said the Swabians’ coach with a view to the game against BVB on Wednesday (8:45 p.m.): “There is no reason to admit them in any way based on the last Bundesliga game underestimate.”

In November, Hoeneß’ team convincingly won 2-1 against the Westphalia team and, in third place after 13 match days in the Bundesliga, is surprisingly two places ahead of their upcoming opponents. “We know where we come from. But we also know where we stand,” said Hoeneß: “That gives us self-confidence.”

The 41-year-old has no worries about personnel. The team that won 2-0 against Werder Bremen at the weekend could play again.
