The Dancing with the Stars season culminated in the finale.
Dancing with the Stars season culminated today on Sunday with the final and the announcement of the winners. Fitness athlete Pernilla Böckerman won together with her dance teacher Anssi Heikkilä with the Dancing with the Stars competition.
Rap artist Yeboyah and a dance teacher faced them in the final Valtteri Palin and a snowboarder Matti Suur-Hamari and dance teacher Katri Riihilahti.
Matti and Katri came second. The difference between the audience votes received by Pernilla and Anssi and Mati and Katri was a hair’s breadth: less than a percentage point.
The three finalists and their teachers had to do three dances: the audience’s choice, a freestyle and a dance in which the star students’ loved ones also participate.
In the final, only the audience’s votes mattered. Based on the judges’ scores, the winners would have been Pernilla and Anssi.
