A man and a child were injured on Saturday around five o’clock after having sewer unblocker thrown over them. The accident happened in a house on Berkenstraat in Nuenen.
The fire brigade, an ambulance and a specialist in the field of hazardous substances came to Nuenen to provide assistance. When the fire brigade arrived, the duo was already under a running shower.
The man and child were taken to hospital in an ambulance.
According to a fire brigade spokesperson, it is unclear how the accident happened. The hazardous substances specialist mainly ensured that ambulance personnel could do their work safely.
According to the spokesperson, there is probably a ‘household accident’.
