A program that has become increasingly important given the recent news story with the murder of Giulia Cecchettin at the hands of her ex-boyfriend. A case that shook Italy and brought attention to feminicides. The program is carried out in collaboration with the Carabinieri, the State Police and with the patronage of the Minister for Family, Birth and Equal Opportunities.

In the second episode of Criminal Love conducted by Emma D’Aquino broadcast tonight, Thursday 23 November 2023, on Rai 3 and streaming on RaiPlay, we tell the story story of Elisa, a 31 year old mother, killed by her husband in December 2019. Elisa is a young woman, together with her husband they have two little girls, they live peacefully in the countryside immersed in nature as she had always wanted. What is good news for Elisa, such as a promotion and career advancement at work, is taken the wrong way by her husband.
The couple’s balance breaks down, a crisis breaks out and the old problems that they had tried to keep dormant re-emerge. The crisis between Elisa and her husband it gets deeper and deeper. One evening, at the height of an argument, the man kills her. He is arrested and confesses almost immediately. Sentenced in first instance to 24 years, the sentence becomeslife sentence during the appeal process.

In the late evening, at 11.30pm, on Rai 3 new appointment with Survivors, the stories of women who managed to escape the clutches of violent men. In the November 23rd episode there will be two stories, that of Anna and Sara. Anna met her future husband in 1986 as a teenager, but, after the first years as lovers, during their marriage their relationship would become full of pain, with the birth of their daughter she would find the courage to report it. Sara is a former tennis player, winner of 15 titles and her sport has helped her overcome every dark moment, including the harassment she suffered. He intervenes in the program the social psychologist Ameya Gabriella Canovi.
