Van de Zandschulp and Greece track continue to rise in tennis ranking | Tennis

Botic van de Zandschulp and Tallon groenpoor have both reached their highest position in the world rankings. Remarkably enough, both tennis players did not have to take action this week.

Despite missing the ATP tournament in Dubai due to a positive corona test, 26-year-old Van de Zandschulp rose two places and is now in 48th position. Greek track (25) did not play last week either, but still rose three places to place 54.

The Russian Daniil Medvedev is now officially the new number 1 in the world. The 26-year-old tennis player took over from Novak Djokovic, who led the list for two years. Djokovic was knocked out in the quarterfinals in Dubai last week by Czech Jiri Vesely. Medvedev lost in the Mexican Acapulco in the semi-final to the later winner Rafael Nadal.
