A$AP Rocky thinks he and Rihanna are doing a “really great job” of having children.
Rapper A$AP Rocky was asked about his “best creation” during the presentation of his new Puma collection. The 35-year-old then replied that his “best collaboration” was “making kids” with Rihanna and mentioned their two kids: RZA, one year old, and three-month-old Riot Rose.
“Our children have the best design”
He continued: “There is nothing better than this out there. This is the best design. I mean, we had a third designer who helped us, a ghost designer named God. He shaped everything.”
While the two have only collaborated on a song once – on the “Cockiness (Love It)” remix (2011) – Rocky honored his Rihanna in the conceptual music video for “DMB” last May.
A$AP Rocky works with Puma and Formula 1
A$AP, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers, became creative director in the Formula 1 division in October 2023. He will be responsible for the company’s lifestyle clothing, campaign visuals and activations over the next few years.
Speaking about the collaboration, the American said: “I have always loved motorsport from afar and the chance to work with Puma and Formula 1 felt like the best way to rethink the category,” said Rocky in October compared to “Complex”.
The new album: DON’T BE DUMB
It was only in August 2023 that Rocky last reignited the excitement surrounding his long-awaited album DON’T BE DUMB with a cryptic tweet: He had written “AWGEST” on X. “AWGE” is the name of the Harlem rapper’s creative agency, which he founded in 2014. The acronym stands for A$AP Worldwide Greatness Entertainment. Otherwise there is hardly any information about the publication so far.
A$AP has released singles to promote the new record, which follows 2018’s TESTING. In July he delivered “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)”.
