In Knokke Heist, N-VA and CD&V are joining forces and going to the voters together in October ’24. “We feel that the residents of Knokke-Heist want something to hold on to. The political malaise, bickering politicians, large and small scandals… the situation of the past few months is unprecedented and must stop. We are going for a new and strong team with experienced politicians, such as Member of Parliament Cathy Coudyser and Alderman Bert De Brabandere, but there is also room for innovation and fresh ideas.” said Steve Ronse, chairman of N-VA Knokke-Heist.

“After several nightly consultation rounds, we have established that there is great mutual trust, based on respect and a clear shared vision of a strong future for the municipality,” says Ignace Devreese, the chairman of CD&V in Knokke-Heist.

There is no name yet for the new movement, but the hashtag #voorKH is already being launched. After all, they want to pursue a policy that focuses on residents, as well as on the many second home owners and tourists who care about Knokke-Heist.
